Now, <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.msnbc.com\/news\/990430.asp\">L.A. Dragnet<\/a><\/i>. (Would&#8217;ve linked <i>Boomtown<\/i>, but it doesn&#8217;t get more than a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eonline.com\/News\/Items\/0,1,12854,00.html\">paragraph<\/a> in a story about <i>Skin<\/i>.)<\/p>\n<p>Canceled. Both. Harumph.<\/p>\n<p>I watch too much <i>Law and Order<\/i> anyway, so I think I can handle life without <i>Dragnet<\/i>. But <i>Boomtown<\/i>? That was probably the most theatrical (cop) show to come around since <i>Homicide: Life on the Streets<\/i>. I really hoped it would find its audience. Alas and alack.<\/p>\n<p><b>Miscellany:<\/b> I don&#8217;t usually watch <i>The West Wing<\/i>, but did something happen to the lighting? The White House looks pretty dark compared to the episodes in syndication on Bravo.
