Earworm firmly planted, I took out Camper Van Beethoven&#8217;s <i>Key Lime Pie<\/i> to play on my drive to work.<\/p>\n<p>Today comes news Camper Van Beethoven will release its <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/bb\/daily\/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1000589313\">first new album<\/a> in 15 years, titled <i>New Roman Times<\/i>. (Oct. 15 release date.)<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It sounds ambitious &#8212; a rock opera. Channel it.<\/p>\n<p>Even though <i>Key Lime Pie<\/i> is the only album I own of CVB, I just may have to pick this one up when it comes out.<\/p>\n<p>Note to self: Relay how Mindy Smith and Camper Van Beethoven has me thinking about all the music I owned on cassette before I sold them all to Half-Price Books without cataloging any of it.
