I’ve never written an overtly gay-themed lyric before. I don’t think I’ve actually done that now. Unless you count the title, which translates to "don’t ask, don’t tell".
聞いてはいけない、言ってはいけない

I don’t have a secret, I’m not hiding anything
You can’t tell by looking, you won’t notice anything
I’m not going to tell you, I could be most anything
You make your assumptions, I won’t give you anything
‘Cos I won’t lie if you should ask
But you won’t know if you don’t ask
I don’t have a problem, I don’t ask for anything
You might feel the same, but I’m not risking anything
If you ever ask me, that’s when I’d say anything
But you won’t get an answer, if you don’t say anything
‘Cos I won’t lie if you should ask
But you won’t know unless you ask
Maybe someday I’ll just say it casually
For now I’ll let you think what you prefer
I don’t have a scret, I’m not hiding anything
I’m not hiding anything
I’m not hiding
‘Cos I won’t lie if you should ask
But you won’t know if you don’t ask
‘Cos I won’t lie if you should ask
But you won’t know until you ask
Do you want to ask me something?
